Frequently Asked Questions

Yes, there is free, off road parting at Strathallan. Enough for one car per room. We have hard standing for motorbikes and a lockable garage for bicycles too. Just let us know ahead of time and we will organise these options for you.

No, but there is a laundrette in Grantown called The Red Sock. We are happy to offer drying facilities for walkers with muddy and wet boots, tents e.t.c.

Check-in is between 4pm and 7pm. Checking in after 7pm is not possible. We cannot accommodate for later check-out.

We offer a few extra’s that you can pre-book at a cost. These can be selected during the booking process.

We are unable to offer evening meals, but there are some nice places to eat here in Grantown on Spey. Please don’t eat takeaways and hot food in your room. We are happy to offer our dining room on these occasions, please just ask.

As we only offer a continental breakfast, we cannot cater to dairy free, gluten free or vegan diets. Our breakfast can be made suitable for vegetarians.

No. We don’t have family rooms or the space to add extra beds/cot beds in the rooms, therefore we don’t accept babies and children under the age of 18.

You can email, call or book online any time of the year. We are only open for stays between April and October.

Smoking is not permitted anywhere inside the property, in bedrooms or public rooms. This includes e-cigarettes, vape kits or any other form of alternative smoking apparatus. We also kindly ask that guests smoking outside the front of our property use the ashtray provided. A fee of £200 will be charged if you smoke in your bedroom or the public rooms. You will also be asked to leave.

I’m afraid we do not accept dogs or other pets, except guide dogs. Please do contact us if you are bringing your guide dog.
